Pontus Wickbom Burevall is an undergraduate senior in the school of Professional Studies and Fine Arts here at SDSU. He is an award winning Graphic Design student. As a native of Sweden, Pontus speaks multiple languages. He has received leadership, survival and combat training as a member of the Swedish Marine Corps and as a guard for the Swedish Royal family. Pontus is well-traveled and has been to more than 15 countries around the world. He plans to further his career working abroad after graduation.

Pontus handles graphic design for the EMC's Marketing Department. He is responsible for creating marketing materials to support the EMC, collateral for the programs run through the center, and web design support.

Pontus moved to San Diego in 2007 from Sweden and studied art and design at San Diego Mesa College, where he graduated as valedictorian with his Associate's Degree. After which, he then transferred to SDSU. Pontus plans to continue his passion in art and design wherever the opportunity arises. With his multicultural background Pontus aspires to one day opening his own design firm somewhere in the world.
